HOME MADE LASAGNA – WITH THE PASTA RECIPE

Homemade Lasagnahome made lasagna

Using our Pasta recipe, here is a great homemade lasagna.

You don’t need to cook the pasta before.  Roll out you pasta with the flat roller to make 10 sheets 

Meat sauce, (see homemade sauce recipe with Italian tomatoes)
Ricotta or Cottage cheese
Four cheese shredded

Start with a bit a sauce at the bottom of your pan.

Add the first layer of pasta, cut it to fit your pan.  You should be good with 2 sheets per layer depending on the size of your dish

Add some ricotta or cottage cheese, spread over your first layer

Top with the meat sauce and shredded cheese

Repeat the process 4 times

Cook for 45 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

Serve with a Paesano salad
