How to Eat Healthy Daily with Easy Good Habits

With our busy lives we tend to forget how to eat properly.

Making healthy food choice will help develop healthy patterns. It refers to what you drink and eat on a regular basis. That mean help you feel good, maintain your health, meet your nutritional need.

Healthy Plate, some suggestions;

Start eating healthy daily with what you put in your plate. Divide your plate in 3 sections. Half of your plate should be fruits and vegetables, choose at least 2 kings. One third should be your grains & starches, like potatoes, rice, corn, pasta or bread. The last one would be your protein, fish, lean meat, chicken, beans, lentils, eggs.

You can develop a healthy eating pattern by regularly eating:

  • whole grain foods such as:
    • quinoa
    • wild rice
    • whole grain pasta
  • vegetables and fruits such as:
    • apples
    • carrots
    • broccoli
  • protein foods such as:
    • legumes
    • lean meats
    • lower fat yogurt

Organic food

Keep in mind to have all your food categories in you plate at every meal. Eat Healthy snack, don’t skip a meal. Eat more often, small meals if that’s easier for you. In the Sumer it’s easier to have fresh, organic produce at the farmers market. I like supporting local farmers. Every Saturday I go and get my fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables. There is also a local butcher that sells organic meats. Whenever I have the opportunity, I don’t mind paying a bit more for organic. Just a chicken will have more meat in it when it’s grain feed.

Someone gave me a great idea for a balance breakfast, it’s call oatmeal in a Jar. You get it ready the night before and in the morning it’s ready to est. you can have it cold or hot. Heat it up in the microwave for 1 to 2minutes if you want.

Preparation:

Place all the ingredients in a jar.
Cover tight with the lid and shake vigorously. Refrigerate for 8 hours. Keeps up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

Here is a few ideas: Breakfast-oatmeal-to-go

  2. I think it’s great that you don’t simply tell the audience to “eat healthy”, but you instead take it a step further by teaching them various recipes they could try. Information like the amount of an ingredient being used and what your diet should consist of are great guide-points for the audience to keep their health in-check.
