No Bake Energy bite for snacks

I know, everyone is now making them but I would like to share my favourites. 

A good snack made from scratch.

The Energy Bites or Energy Balls.  

I have discovered a bunch of cool easy no baked energy balls.

Energy Bites or Energy Balls

No-Bake Energy Balls


  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/3 cup honey – you can put a bit less if you want less sweetness
  •  1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients together.  Let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.  Roll into balls.

No-Bake Energy Balls with Dates

  • 1 cup dates
  • 3 tbsp peanut or almond butter
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate (roughly chopped) optional
  • 1 tbsp chia, flax or hemp seeds
  •  2/3 cup rolled oats

Pulse the dates in a food processor, add all other ingredients and pulse until blend together.

Roll into balls, make about 10 to 14 balls depending on the size you like

No-Bake Peanut Butter Coconut Energy Bites

1 cup (90g) rolled oats.

1/2 cup (125g) crunchy peanut butter.

1/3 cup (113g) honey, maple syrup, or agave.

1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

1/2 cup (30g) desiccated coconut.

1 tablespoon chia seeds.

1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips.


All done.  You can also freeze them and take some out only when needed.

These are easy and healthy snacks.
